At it's peak in the 1970s the KD series was a line-up of four different displacement off-road motorcycles.
By 1980 the line was down to just the KD80-M1. The KD80M lasted through 1987 which was the final year (shown here). You could say the line sort of lived on as the KE series of similar, but street legal bikes.
For 1988 the KD80M was replaced by the totally redesigned KD80X which will be posted next.
