1978 Kawasaki Z1-R KZ1000-D1 Brochure & More (Turbo)
Wouldn't that make a great poster? (it may exist)
The 1978 KZ1000-D1 Z1-R sales brochure.
And now for some bonus for the Z1-R TC fans.
Kawasaki motorcycles have what is called an Assembly & Preparation Manual. In the case of the Z1-R Turbo there was also a supplement.
Here is the Z1-R TC Dealer Fact Sheet from Turbo Cycle Corp.
Finally a nice burnout on a Z1-R Turbo from Z-1 The Movie.
Hope you enjoyed the Z1-R and Z1-R TC information.
Thanks for looking. Gary / kawasaki-yama-zuki
2021-09-14 Update:
During Z-1 The Movie the commentator mentions that in the German market 11 Z1-R motorcycles where modified slightly to look more like a Z1 and where given the model designation Z1000S. Here are a couple pictures from the internet and a link to an auction result from June 2021 where a restored Z1000S sold for just over $30k.
Auction page: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1978-kawasaki-z1r-z1000s/ This page has lots of pictures.

(a backup on the Wayback Machine in case the original becomes a dead link)
2021-09-21 Another Update:
A clip of the Z1000S seemed like it would be better than just a picture. The Z1000S is shown a minute or so into the video. After that is the longer segment about the turbo.
Old hard drives often have cool files on them. Here is a scan of another Z1-R brochure.
